Emily Callahan, Board Member

Emily was an ambassador 2012, a JC and an AC following this. She was involved periodically throughout college. Emily always wanted to remain involved with MYL because it is a big part of her heart! She came home from a year-long volunteer trip and contacted Tom Renehan on how to become more involved. The board was happy to have her and she has been involved for about two years! Emily is hoping to be an SF in a future seminar!

Emily lives in Portland, ME. She went to Windham High School, University of Maine for her bachelor's and University of Southern Maine for her master's. She is a social worker and works at a residential treatment facility for teens struggling with mental health. In her free time she likes to hike, go to the lake, read, spend time with friends and family, and travel!
