How would you say MYL impacted your trajectory in life?
MYL is what really drove it for me that I wanted to become a teacher and work with children. This is an experience that I will never forget.
Did any MYL relationship help you along your way? (JC, SF, AC, fellow alum, etc.) and if so, how?
Being a J.C. at MYL taught me so much about myself. It was my J.C. year that changed my perspective on how I see the world.
What is your fondest memory from your MYL experience?
My fondest memory from MYL was definitely my J.C. year. I met so many new people that are some of my best friends till today. MYL is an experience that everyone should have but not everyone gets to have.
What might someone be surprised to learn about you?
Something that might be surprising to learn about me is that during the summer I work at a 4-H camp.
What gives you hope?
What gives me hope is my friends, family, and the community that surrounds me.
How does your MYL experience impact your everyday work and/or life?
MYL has been an important part of who I am today. MYL showed me that it was ok and an AMAZING thing to be myself, because no one in this world is exactly like me.
Any fun hobbies?
For fun I like to be doing anything outside, I LOVE to do volunteer work, and I love performing arts.
