Matt Dourant
Dourant attended the seminar in 2018 as a representative from Penobscot Valley High School and returned to MYL as a Junior Counselor in 2019. He is currently studying Sports Media at Franklin Pierce University with an anticipated graduation in 2024. He also does broadcast work for sports games on campus.

Danielle Brown
Brown attended the seminar in 2013 as a representative from Mattanawcook Academy. She graduated from Husson University in 2020 with an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Studies and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
Brown currently works as the Dental Operations Coordinator at the Penobscot Community Health Care dental center.

Melissa Paione
Paione attended the seminar in 2010 as a representative from Edward Little High School. She graduated from Bates College in 2016 after studying Psychology and Women and Gender Studies. She went on to earn two master's degrees: Ed.M. in Human Development from Boston University and M.S. in Sport Management from UMass Amherst.
Paione is now the Aquatics Director at the YWCA Central Maine. Prior to starting at the YWCA she worked as a college swim coach.

Dilon Townsend
Townsend attended the seminar in 2014 as a representative from Washington Academy in East Machias. He is currently studying Restaurant/Food Service Management at the University of Central Florida in Orlando with an anticipated graduation in the Spring of 2022.
Townsend works as a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Loews Hotels & Co. as well as a Server and Team Lead at Universal Orlando Resort.

Liz Sevigny
Sevigny attended the seminar in 2017 as a representative from Deering High School. They are working on a double major in Computer Science and East Asian Studies at Mount Holyoke College with an anticipated graduation in 2023.
Sevigny is a newly elected International Trustee for Circle K International, the worlds premier collegiate service and leadership organization. They are also a tech intern at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Amanda Millay
Amanda attended the seminar in 2005 as a representative from Presque Isle High School. She graduated from the New England School of Communications in 2011 after studying Communications with a focus on Marketing/Graphic Design.
Amanda, known by most MYL alumni by her maiden name, Nadeau, is now a Design & Marketing Specialist for Pulse Marketing Agency, which is part of the Bangor Daily News organization. She has worked in marketing for the past 10 years within the automotive, jewelry, and agency industries.

Vicky Negus
Negus attended the seminar in 2006 as a representative from Bonny Eagle High School. She graduated from Brandeis University in 2012 after studying Anthropology and International Studies.
Negus is now a public benefits policy analyst at the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute where she works to protect and strengthen SNAP (food stamps) and cash assistance for low income families, in Massachusetts and nationally.

Lauren Cooper
Cooper attended the seminar in 2017 as a representative from Foxcroft Academy. She began her undergraduate studies at University of New England in Biddeford, ME in the fall of 2019 and currently has two jobs on campus - one in the library and one in a microbiology research lab. She anticipates graduating in 2023 with a degree in Medical Biology with minors in Public Health and Applied Mathematics.
