Jim Cox, Board Member

Jim Cox was the founder of Maine Youth Leadership in 1979 after meeting Hugh O’Brien. As the founder, Jim has always been on the board and a crucial member of MYL.

Jim just moved from Saco to Old Orchard Beach. He grew up in Portland and went to the University of New Haven, University of Southern Maine and Husson University. Jim was a tax accountant at UNUM Insurance company for 20 + years. Prior to that, he was the Controller for several companies. Jim also has his own tax prep business. In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his grandkids.
