Zoë Lewis, Board Member

Zoë was first introduced to MYL in 2019 when she moved to Maine. When she first heard about MYL, she knew this was something she wanted to be involved in, but because she didn't think she would be in Maine for more than a year, she didn't think it would be feasible. Well, Zoë decided to make Maine her home and 2 years later, Kathy Leighton mentioned to her that she was involved and told her more about the organization. Zoë knew this was her time to get involved with such a great organization!

Zoë was born in Jamaica but spent most of her life in South Florida. She attended the University of South Florida - Tampa and got a BA in Theatre: Stage Management and another BA in American Sign Language Interpreting. Zoë moved to Maine in August 2019 for an internship at Portland Stage and decided to make Maine her home. She currently resides in Portland and wears many hats. Zoë is an event planner, works at Portland Stage as the Executive Assistant in the Development Department, and is a Virtual Assistant. In her free time, she serves on the Tech Team at her church, watches lots of TV (mostly reality tv), and hangs out with her friends and family.
