Summer 2026 Newsletter

Dear MYL Family, Friends, and Supporters,

At the end of May, we wrapped up our annual summer seminar, welcoming high school sophomores from across the state. Watching these young leaders step out of their comfort zones, build lifelong connections, and discover their capacity to make a meaningful difference in their communities is a powerful reminder of why we all work so hard each year to ensure that MYL can continue inspiring tomorrow’s leaders.

We want to express our gratitude to everyone who makes our annual seminar possible:

  • Our Student Ambassadors: Thank you for bringing your courage, curiosity, and energy to the seminar.

  • Our Volunteers & Staff: From our dedicated Junior and Alumni Counselors to behind-the-scenes coordinators, your tireless efforts make the magic happen.

  • Our Donors & Alumni Network: Your continued generosity ensures we can keep this program accessible to promising youth across Maine year after year.

Thank you for being an integral part of our mission. We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming alumni and community events!

Best regards,

The Maine Youth Leadership Board of Directors
